St. Joseph College of Commerce formerly a part of St Joseph’s College was established in the year 1882 as an educational initiative by French foreign mission Fathers. In 1937 the management of college was handed over to the Jesuits, a worldwide Catholic religious order with a special focus on education. The department of commerce was established in the parent college in 1949. In 1972 this department became an independent college under the name of St. Joseph's College of Commerce. The college was recognised as a “College with Potential Excellence” in 2010 by UGC. The thrust has been transforming commerce into a multi-dimensional academic field. Currently the college enjoys NAAC ‘A’ grade. The college has been proactive to the significant changes and development in the domain of higher education as well as business and commerce.

Eligibility

The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 with 50% aggregate in any stream from the recognised board are eligible to apply for BBA courses in St Joseph’s College of Commerce.
