Students who pursue a degree in business administration learn about effective forecasting strategic planning and research and entrepreneurship. Eligibility and Admissions

The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks from the recognised board are eligible to apply for BBA Course.

The eligible students can join the BBA course by two modes of admission. First one is Merit Admission and second one is Direct Admission. The students can choose from any of the two modes to join the BBA course. So, it is important for the students to have information about both the processes.

  • Merit Admission

As the name suggests admissions are made on the basis of merit and rankings. There are many top educational institutes that conduct entrance exams for admission to BBA courses and this mode is called the Merit Admission process.

The entrance exams are largely conducted to select the serious and hardworking students from the group of non-serious candidates for the limited number of seats available in colleges. The qualified students are allotted the merit seats based on their rankings and are given admission to the respective colleges.

  • Direct Admission

The students have another option of getting admission to BBA course by Direct Admission process. Under this mode of admission, the students are given direct admission to their desired colleges under the management quota. The main advantage of this mode is that the students are not required to apply for any entrance exams and they can directly apply for the BBA courses and get their admission done.

Another advantage of direct admission over merit admission is that; in case of merit seats the students may not get seats in their desired colleges due to less rankings or many other reasons, while in case of direct admissions the students can directly apply to their desired colleges through educational advisory centres and get confirmed seats in their dream college and pursue their studies. This mode of admission is easy and hassle free and students are not required to run behind scores and entrance exams for getting admissions to BBA.
